At CES 2025, Arm unveiled a series of strategic initiatives and partnerships that underscore its commitment to advancing AI and computing technologies across various industries. A standout announcement was Arm’s multiyear partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team, designating Arm as the team’s ‘Official AI Compute Platform Partner.’ This collaboration aims to leverage Arm’s computing platforms to drive AI advancements, enhancing performance both on and off the track.
In the automotive sector, Arm highlighted collaborations focused on software-defined vehicles (SDVs). Notably, Mapbox introduced its Virtual Head Unit (VHU) in partnership with Arm and Corellium, enabling automakers to expedite the integration, testing, and validation of navigation systems. Additionally, LG unveiled the LG PICCOLO, enhancing its Battery Management System (BMS) to allow continuous updates and customization, integrated into the cloud virtual platform for the Arm RD1-AE.
Arm also emphasized its role in the expanding Windows on Arm (WoA) ecosystem, noting significant progress with widely used applications now offering Arm-native versions. This momentum makes WoA an increasingly attractive area for the wider ecosystem, with hardware for AI PCs, including MediaTek’s Kompanio SoCs for Chromebook devices, adopting new AI-based features.
These developments reflect Arm’s strategic focus on fostering innovation through partnerships and ecosystem collaborations, aiming to drive technological advancements and inclusivity across various sectors.
